So, I’m talking about a friend of mine who had a rhinoplasty (or nose-job) done, and now he feels just fine. But, I also asked him if he’d gone and seen what the doctor suggested, and he said no. So, I went and got the same exact advice from my former teammate. Here’s my take on nose surgery and rhinoplasty.
Let me start by saying, as a former competitive wrestler, once I cut my nose and got some implants (to make my nose look bigger), I always told myself, and everyone I knew, to go and give it to someone who needed it, because that’s what wrestling is all about. The only thing I did was offer my service to pay for it, because they needed it. As far as anyone else goes, well, that’s their business. What I meant by that is, if you need a nose job or a rhinoplasty done, don’t you think it’s your obligation to tell him to do anything? If you’re not sure whether you should do something, why not just listen? After all, this is YOUR nose, and your job is to look after it.
It’s pretty cool when you have somebody like my former wrestling colleague tells you to go and get the recommended nose surgery done, because he has been through it himself and he knows how bad it looks. He said it looks worse in photographs than it did when he got it. That’s the truth. So, I’d recommend that anyone with a deviated septum, breathing easier, or anything like that, go website and get it done.
When I was getting my nose done, I asked my friend if I could go there and give it to him, so he said sure. Well, I guess he didn’t know what to expect, because when I went there and gave it to him, I was expecting him to throw it away and start breathing easier, but instead, he took it and stuck it up his nose like a trophy. That’s not exactly what I was hoping for, so I guess I went there and gave it to him for nothing.
Anyway, it turned out that he actually wanted me to put some sort of band aid (I was in such a hurry to get the nose fixed) on his nose, so he could wear it when he went places. I tried several times, but nothing really worked. In fact, after I told him to go and get the recommended nose job done, he actually looked at me and said “Hey, you can’t do that!” ha-ha. I just laughed and then went there and gave it to him.
So there you have it. If you want to know people said when I recommended nose surgery, all you need to do is Google “Recommended Nose Surgery.” You will find hundreds of results. The one thing you need to be careful of when searching though is if the site has an option to “Show All Results,” or if they have an option to say “Read Reviews.” Because that’s where you’ll find all the fake reviews.
